About Stories

About GS Stories

We live in a world that prioritises information over connection. We want to change that. Good Shout Stories aims to help spread appreciation of everyday people doing extraordinary things. The kinds of stories that provide a window to other people’s worlds and help you understand your neighbour that little bit better.

Get Involved

Pitch us! We’re always looking for new story ideas.

What makes a Good Shout Story? Someone doing something awesome that very few people appreciate. It has to have a bit of ‘spectacle’ about it, and bonus points if the people at the centre of the story are super passionate advocates for their thing. You can email your story ideas or any questions to [email protected]

Meet the team

that live the dream

Nicholas Arganese

Nicko is Good Shout’s second-in-command and co-owner. He helps oversee and manage the entire creative process. From concept through to final delivery, he laps it all up.  When asked "How's it going?" Nicko confidently replies "I'm living the dream".

Stephanie Jensen

Steph is a videographer and editor. Starting her career in the field as a TV news camera operator and editor, she has captured national stories around Australia and now enjoys exploring her creativity through digital content creation. She loves doing anything behind the camera and seeing the process through to the final edit.

Callum Lawrence

Callum is a one-man band videographer. From storyboarding to sound design, he loves the whole process. Be warned, if you put a camera in his hand, you might just fall in love with what it captures. When he’s not filming around Australia or animating at his desk, Callum enjoys making short films and taking photos, sometimes at the same time.

Brett Frawley

Brett is the founder of Good Shout. The company is his outlet to tell stories and share new ideas. He loves journalism. He loves advertising. But fears the blurry bit in-between. Without his team, he’d be nothing.

John Barrington

John is a producer of all things Good Shout: video stories, podcasts and audio. At the ripe old age of thirty-something, he’s the elder statesman of the team, with more than a decade’s experience working in the Australian news media. He’s chased U.S. Presidents as a political reporter for triple j HACK. He’s wrangled celebrities for The Project. He also does voice overs and Dad jokes.

Martin Bellew

Affectionately known by the team as "Saint Martin", patron of sick edits. His role is to take clients' ideas, run it through every step of the process and spit out a sweet vid. When Martin’s not producing sick edits, he’s watching any sport imaginable. Quote “Anyone see what happened in the world series of lawn bowls last night?”

Dan Meyer

Dan’s passions can be summarised in three words: adventures, sports and filmmaking. Before becoming a Good Shouter, Dan made multiple documentaries along the Kokoda Trail and worked on the television coverage of some of Australia’s largest sporting events.

Max Jasinski

When it comes to creativity, Max can’t get enough. Whether it’s writing the first draft or locking the final edit, he loves collaborating with others to make unique and exciting videos. Max is also a certified cinema addict. Come rain, hail or shine, you’ll find him at the movies. From Schindler’s List to Sharknado, he’ll watch anything and everything, needless to say we’re a little concerned.
