About Stories

About GS Stories

We live in a world that prioritises information over connection. We want to change that. Good Shout Stories aims to help spread appreciation of everyday people doing extraordinary things. The kinds of stories that provide a window to other people’s worlds and help you understand your neighbour that little bit better.

Get Involved

Pitch us! We’re always looking for new story ideas.

What makes a Good Shout Story? Someone doing something awesome that very few people appreciate. It has to have a bit of ‘spectacle’ about it, and bonus points if the people at the centre of the story are super passionate advocates for their thing. You can email your story ideas or any questions to [email protected]

Meet the team

that live the dream

John Barrington

JB has reported for all the big names: triple j, ABC Radio, The Project, Good Shout Stories. He makes sweet videos, podcasts, dad jokes and voice overs - and will get the best out of your voice when you come record with us.

Sam Hosking

Sam is a videographer and editor. She has a passion for film production and storytelling, especially spooky movies. She dabbles in SFX makeup and costumes, so be careful… she might be dressed as a monster one day.

Binks

Binks is the Good Shout good boy.

Callum Lawrence

Cal is a one-man band videographer. From perfecting his ‘gimbal walk’ to creating epic sound design, he loves the whole process. Be warned, if you put a camera in his hand, you might just fall in love with what it captures.

Brett Frawley

Brett is the founder of Good Shout. The company is his outlet to tell stories and share new ideas. He loves journalism. He loves advertising. But fears the blurry bit in-between. Without his team, he’d be nothing.

Nicholas Arganese

Nicko is Good Shout’s co-director and co-owner. He lives to work and thrives when he’s bringing well-told stories to life.  He likes shooting, editing and directing but above all, he loves his Good Shout family.

Max Jasinski

When it comes to creativity, Max can’t get enough. He's also a certified cinema addict. Come rain, hail or shine, you’ll find him at the movies. He’ll watch anything and everything, needless to say we’re a little concerned.

Martin Bellew

Affectionately known by the team as "Saint Martin", patron of sick edits. His role is to take clients' ideas, run it through every step of the process and spit out a sweet vid.
